The BactiZapper™ Classic is a superior alternative to flame sterilization of laboratory instruments. Using proven technology, it instantly sterilizes platinum inoculation loops, needles, glass tube/pipette mouths, and various metal and borosilicate glass instruments used in the laboratory. An asbestos-free core element produces temperatures of 815°C (1500°F), completely sterilizing appropriate items in 5-7 seconds. Users are protected from accidental contact with the ceramic heating element by a perforated stainless steel guard chamber.
