How we support Laboratories
Helping our clients succeed is our primary concern. In addition to helping select the proper laboratory equipment for scientific applications, we support our clients with facility layout, coordination and training.
Facility Analysis
Whenever possible, ARES specialists will schedule an in-person evaluation of your laboratory, take detailed measurements to ensure that equipment will fit in the desired locations and advise on utility requirements. We will also make suggestions on equipment placement to ensure that factors such as traffic patterns, supply air vents and door openings do not disrupt equipment performance and create research variables. We work closely with Environmental Health and Safety to help comply with internal safety policies and with Facilities/Engineering departments for seamless installation.
Cost Analysis
Laboratories commonly base equipment decisions solely on purchase price and procurement convenience. ARES understands that every grant dollar is important and that inefficiencies, downtime and ongoing costs for repairs and maintenance can lead to increased operational cost and loss of focus on core research objectives. That is why our representatives will help you analyze total cost of ownership to ensure that your money is wisely invested in the tools that support your life’s work.
Coordination and Support
ARES recognizes that coordinating seamless delivery and installation of new equipment into your compounding pharmacy is critical to minimizing operational downtime and meeting inspection timelines. Our specialists interface with many local service providers and your project management team to help coordinate delivery, installation and testing of the equipment that we sell. Our network consists of independent certifiers and service companies that can assist with ongoing support and proper maintenance of your equipment investments.
Training
Our local ARES representatives offer training services for your staff on the equipment operation and use to ensure the highest degree of productivity in your laboratory.
