The Benchmark Orbi-Shaker™ XL (BT1011) is a high-capacity benchtop orbital shaker built for labs that need large-volume, high-throughput shaking without moving to a floor model. With an oversized 18″ x 18″ platform and a 19 mm orbital throw, it delivers strong aeration and mixing for common applications like cell culture, bacterial/yeast culture, media preparation, staining/destaining, hybridization washes, and general sample agitation in flasks, bottles, racks, and microplates (with optional platforms).

Designed for workflow efficiency, the BT1011 pairs a touch screen display with a variable 30–300 rpm speed range and flexible timing (from short runs to extended protocols). The included non-slip rubber mat supports low-speed mixing and versatile vessel placement, while the optional MAGic Clamp™ platform enables fast, tool-free changes between flask clamps, tube racks, and microplate accessories—ideal for shared labs and multi-user environments
