The EA-32002C delivers CO2 with the push of a button and is designed for small-scale use by individual investigators. It has two separate and independent gas outputs allowing two cages to be euthanized individually, either at the same time or staggered. The dual gas output increases efficiency when euthanizing a large number of animals. It is recommended that the flow restrictors be paired with Euthanex lids or Sure-Seal chambers to avoid needing to adjust the incoming flow rate as the number of connected cages changes. The flow restrictors are selected based on the cage size used and installed on the lids or Sure-Seal Chambers, and this setup will ensure an AVMA compliant flow rate will be delivered.
