The units have a white ceramic top plate, advanced microprocessor controls, and a constant monitoring system that provides precise temperature control and rapid heating. A powerful motor drive system provides effienct mixing, even with larger volume samples that are viscous. A large digital display shows temperature and mixing speed, and a safety LED illuminates when the plate temperature exceeds 50°C. Finally, an external probe can be used to provide direct feedback to the microprocessor keeping samples within +/- 1°C of the set temperature.
