Each rack is typically ordered with 40 extra cages with a complete rack in order to have enough cages available to change out cages. Some Optimice/Optirat GenII Standard Bottle and Cap Assemblies (product # C79122P) should be ordered if water bottle usage is also planned for some or all of the cages. Animal Care Systems also recommends using its Blockparty enrichment cages (C79110PBPDFF) and connecting tubes (C79BP050) to provide enrichment by increasing cage complexity and living space.
