Benchmark’s LC-8 series of laboratory centrifuges is designed for a wide range of clinical and research laboratory applications. The unit comes with an eight-position rotor that accepts 10mL and 15mL test tubes. Adapters are also available for use with all popular sizes of blood collection and culture tubes. A safety lock automatically engages before a cycle begins, and a detection system automatically stops the unit if an imbalance is detected. Finally, the rotor can be easily removed for chamber cleaning.
