The Z216-MK is a quiet and versatile microcentrifuge with a safe saving footprint and a compressor-based cooling system. The refrigeration system can maintain temperatures of -20°C and reach 4°C (from room temperature) in less than 10 minutes. It has 11 rotor options that accept all common microtubes, PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and 5.0 mL centrifuge tubes. Microprocessor controls allow the accel/decel rates to be adjusted. The rotational speed display can be toggled between rpm or rcf, and the end run tone can be changed for user preference.
